Launching the plan of organizing the transport routes for the city of Ibb, The city of Ibb inaugurated today the plan of organizing the routes of urban transport in the governorate center, implemented by the local authority in the governorate and the General Authority for the regulation of land transport affairs. In the inauguration, the Governor of Ibb Abdel Wahid Salah paid the efforts of the committee charged with preparing a study on the organization of the routes in Ibb city and the start of its implementation in reality. He urged the relevant authorities to cooperate to implement the road traffic planning, plan to reduce traffic congestion. Governor Salah confirmed the support of the leadership of the province to the efforts of organizing the routes and the transfer of the mattresses to the designated places and identify the routes of the movement of buses approved within the plan, He stressed the need to continue implementation of the plan throughout the year. The head of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority Waleed Al-Wadai said that the implementation of the plan to regulate the traffic lines at the level of the province, is the second project at the level of the Republic after the province of Saada. The implementation of the plan in the city of Ibb is a positive step because of the influx of displaced people to the governorate, which contributes to reducing the pressure on services and traffic congestion of the main streets and tours. He pointed out that the Commission is working on the implementation of studies on transport lines and redrawing the map of the Republic to identify routes and transport within cities. Al-Wadai appreciated the efforts of the local authority leadership in Ibb to provide facilities to implement the plan and to provide spaces for public parking and sorting. In turn, the Director of the Transport Office in the province Mohammed al-Azi, the efforts of the committee charged with implementing the study pointing to the tracks identified in the city of Ibb for buses and vehicles, which was started today and actions to be taken against violators. The inauguration was attended by Harith al-Muleiki, Ali al-Nuwa, Vice President of Ibb University Dr. Abdullah Al-Falahi, Traffic Director Colonel Khaled Anam and a number of officials.
